Rainy River Resources sponsored a free workshop in Fort Frances this summer, for both kids and adults. Mining Matters is a program created by the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) to bring the wonders of Canada's geology and mineral resources to participants. It's a chance to learn about rocks, minerals, metals, exploration and mining in a hands-on environment. We are proud to have had the Mining Matters team in Fort Frances on August 3rd, 4th and 5th to facilitate this workshop, held on the Confederation College campus. The workshop also included a visit to our Rainy River exploration site.
